Shell Cooper is an intuitive artist inspired by nature, drawing inspiration from her African roots, the Pacific North West and her tropical garden in Costa Rica. Her work reflects abstract botanicals, vibrant colours, and a focus on finding the beauty in imperfection, leaving space for imagination to flourish.

 

Each piece is imbued with emotions and memories, inviting viewers to connect with the artwork on a deeper level. Shell's preferred medium is acrylic and she loves experimenting with inks, pastels, markers, collage and oil sticks. She loves painting large emotive pieces. Shell is an emerging artist having gone back to art after decades spent moving to countries and continents and raising a family.
